I read recently in the Sunday Times that Claudia Winkleman had deleted Instagram from her phone because she got tired of the 'showing off' and that it made her feel as if she were spying on other peoples lives, instead of living her own. At first I thought I agreed with her, but the more I've mulled this over, I can't quite help thinking that it says more about her than it does about Instagram. KEEP CALM & CARRY ON

The first 90 minutes of our weekday are crazy. It goes something like this: get the kids dressed, make the beds, open the curtains, make breakfast, make super healthy smoothie for kids, clear up breakfast, clear up super healthy smoothie that has gone everywhere, load the dishwasher, clean the kitchen, supervise teeth brushing, hair brushing/styling, oversee lines to learn (there always seems like there is some kind of assembly/show Oscar needs to be prepared for), make lunches, pack lunches, update and pack school bags, put on hats, scarves and gloves. SLOW DOWN A LITTLE

It was on the school run last week that one of the other mums said to me "it's like you're in fast forward mode!" I knew exactly what she meant the minute she said it. Everything I do is fast for some reason. I try to pack as much in my day as possible. I'll forgo makeup in the morning for a tidy round the house.
